Susannah Gold, founder of Vigneto Communications, has been in communications for 13 years. Formerly a journalist for Dow Jones Newswires, Susannah has worked in PR agencies, in-house and on her own. In addition to working in communications, Susannah has been studying and enjoying wine for over 20 years.
Susannah is one of only a handful of non-Italians in the Associazione Italiana Sommeliers (AIS) and has received her Diploma of Wine & Spirits (DWS) from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET), a prestigious British program. She has also completed the Certified Specialist in Wine (CSW) and Certified Specialist of Spirits (CSS) exams at the Society of Wine Educators, a school in the United States and has recently completed her certification as a Spanish Wine Educator at the Wine Academy of Spain.
In 2007, Susannah decided to marry her communications and wine interests and the result is Vigneto Communications, a boutique public relations, marketing and educational consulting firm specialized in the food & wine industry.
Susannah has a master’s degree in International Affairs from the Paul H. Nitze School of International Affairs (SAIS) of Johns Hopkins University. She earned her undergraduate degree from Colgate University, graduating with Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude honors.
